A mysterious and unpredictable ray of sunshine has illuminated the design path of Vianna Suites & Spa, transforming an old manor house, located on the mezzanine floor of a late 19th century palace, into a luxurious and exclusive accommodation facility, welcoming its guests in a homely manner, taking care of their every need, a stone's throw from the heart of Lecce's old town centre, cradle of a unique and precious Baroque.

In a central urban area, safeguarded for its environmental importance and architecturally affected by the 19th-century expansions beyond the city walls and by the building development of the early 20th century, the building blends perfectly into the features of the context, insinuating itself into the folds of a uniform structure in terms of the recurrence of the prevailing typological, constructive, material and formal characteristics typical of a composed and linear period such as the Neoclassicism of the late 19th - early 20th century.
Aware of the building's historical significance, the owners wanted to enhance its presence, restoring the dwelling to its former splendour and inserting precious contemporary and wellness details inside, aimed at making the walls shine in the warm local light and making the rooms pleasant and liveable in a very contemporary way.
Under the technical direction of architect Antonio Stelvio Carpentieri, an excellence in the Salento architectural scene, and thanks to the artistic collaboration of architect Diletta Gigante, the restoration project could take advantage of restoration techniques that were natural and respectful of the environment and the authenticity of the places. A daily and constant supervision of the work and site activities by highly specialised local workers accompanied all the phases of the work, from the general to the details, even in the choice of the layout details, for the sake of a design file rouge oriented towards the need to improve the habitability of the rooms, while still respecting the original architectural and environmental characteristics.
The preservation of these values has been ensured by the conservation of individual surviving traditional elements, both in terms of form and distribution and technology.
Located on the mezzanine floor of an elegant building dating back to the end of the 19th century, this is a luxury and elegant accommodation facility. Guests are welcomed into this exclusive facility with the warm familiarity of a home, dedicating themselves to meeting their every need. The property is located a short distance from the heart of Lecce's historic centre, a place that boasts unique and priceless Baroque architecture.
